This site gives you the opportunity to browse local County Longford businesses online before you visit them. Uniquely, all the businesses featured on this site are owned and managed by female entrepreneurs.
Our ambition is to feature 100 such enterprises on this site to give consumers a flavour of the full range of products and services that are available in County Longford, some of them unique to the Region. In many cases links are available into the businesses own websites.

Business Showcase
Longford Community Resouces are organising a Longford Women In Business Showcase event to take place in the Temperance Hall on Saturday 12th December.
A wide and varied range of businesses will be displaying on the day and there are a number of speakers who will relate their own experience of running and managing their businesses.
Any business interested in taking a stand should contact Cathy Lynch at Longford Community Resources and all are welcome to drop in on the day.

Originally launched on 1st Dec 2007 by Marian Harkin MEP, this website was developed under the Longford EQUAL Development Partnership. This inter-agency group was involved in the Longford EQUAL project the main aim of which was to support and promote female entrepreneurship.
